Winter Hand Helpers
Wednesday, 28 Jun 2017
I won’t harp on about winter and the effect it has on my skin, since I already did that here. But today let me introduce you to my Winter Hand Helpers, a few products that I have been relying on this season to protect and hydrate my hands.
The Body Shop Almond Conditioning Hand Wash does a good job cleansing but also moisturises, and doesn’t leave my hands feeling dry.
The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector is a thick hand cream that hydrates and protects, and although I am not a fan of the scent, I will let that slide because of how effective this is!
The essie Nail & Skin Serum really helps to drench cuticles, and keeps the skin around my nails plump and hydrated. It is a bi-phase product, so you do need to shake it so that the oil and serum can mix together. I have been using this before bed, so that I can really drench my finger tips without messing anywhere.
And lastly, I have the Sally Hansen Cuticle Eraser + Balm. It smells amazing. It is a thick waxy balm that I apply to my cuticles when I am watching TV. It can be a bit sticky if you apply too much, but it absorbs well and does a good job on my cuticles.
Do you have any Winter Hand Helpers?

It’s a bit pricey, but L’Occitane’s almond hand scrub is a real treat in winter. Very oily and extremely moisturising, but it doen’t leave a film on your hands once you wash it off and dry our hands.
I also enjoy the Hemp hand protector, it’s a great hand cream and very similar to Lush Handy Gurugu
I’ll have a look. You won’t believe, I haven’t tried anything from lush!
Nivea Hand Cream Anti Age Q10 plus – a WINNER in jy books !!
