Today I have some exciting New Maybelline Launches to share with you…
First up is an exciting new addition to the Maybelline Dream Range… *The Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation (R139.95)
There are 7 shades to choose from, some shades are warm toned, some cool toned and some are neutral. I received Fawn and Sun Beige. Fawn is a bit more on the cooler side compared to Sun Beige. A little goes a long way with this medium coverage foundation, so use a light hand, and blend well. Although this is a matte foundation, it is also hydrating. I do think a good moisturiser and a primer is important with this foundation if you have dry skin, as it does emphasise dry patches slightly. My favourite way to apply this is with a damp beauty blender, as it gives the most natural flawless finish. This foundation is best suited for normal to combination skin types.
Next up is the *Colossal Go Chaotic Mascara (R134.95). This mascara is inspired by the disorganised lashes seen on the runway. Imperfect perfection in a bottle, the epitome of what the fashion world is about right now. What I love about Maybelline Mascaras is the pigment, and this one is no different. If you want your lashes to stand out from the crowd, GO CHAOTIC!
Lastly, and my favourite of the bunch, the *Master Ink Liquid Liner (R129.95). This Liquid Liner is available in three finishes, matte, satin and glitter. These liners boast a Smart Tip brush for easy mess free application. I am not too sure what a Smart Tip is, but the brush is amazing, it allows for a precise line and it really is mess free. It isn’t too flexible, and it isn’t too stiff, it’s pretty perfect… So I guess that is what a Smart Tip brush is. I love that once it dries, it dries, it doesn’t smudge, it doesn’t flake and it lasts a really long time! And it is so pigmented, I like my eyeliner as dark as the night, so this ticks that box.
See anything you like?
