Kelso Colour Makeup Review
Monday, 27 Nov 2017
I am sure we are all familiar with Edgars, and their fashion brand Kelso, right? Well, today let me introduce you to their latest offering: Kelso Colour Makeup, an affordable collection of products designed specifically for the South African Market, without compromising on quality.
I was sent a few products from the *Kelso Colour range, and the first thing that stood out to me was the chic satin/matte black packaging. And the cute logo!
The Chubby Sticks (R119.95) remind me of the MAC Patent Polish Lip Pencils in both quality and pigmentation. My favourite shades are Oh Snap and Lerato, the two brightest and boldest shades. A few of the shades have a metallic type finish, which is definitely on trend right now, but something I am not too much of a fan of unfortunately. There are eight shades available, so I am sure you will find something you love!

I was also sent a Brown Mascara (R159.95), and I am loving it! Although Brown Mascara is less dramatic than black, I find that it is great for summer to give a lighter fresher lash look. There are five different mascaras available, but I am not sure if the spoolie differs between them. This spoolie is amazing, it has plastic bristles, that separate and curl lashes without loading on too much product. It reminds me a lot of the Catrice Glam & Doll Mascara which is one of my favourites!
See anything you like? There is also a bath and body range that I haven’t tried yet, ranging from R39.95 for soap to R59.95 for the body butter, which is pretty affordable if you ask me! And the scents sound really indulgent!
