Burt’s Bees in South Africa
Thursday, 24 Oct 2019
A good few months ago I attended an exciting event to celebrate the launch of Burt’s Bees in South Africa. The event was beautiful, the snacks were amazing, and it is always fun to hear about new products, as well as the story behind the brand. I had heard Burt’s Bees on my radar for a while, and even had a few products on my wishlist, so I was keen to hear which products would be launching in South Africa (unfortunately not everything from my wishlist).
We were sent home with a couple of *products and of course got to try all of the products at the launch. The Tinted Lip Balm is definitely next on my list!
The Vanilla Bean Moisturizing Lip Balm is my favourite from the products I received, it smells amazing, is moisturising and was my go-to lip balm until I finished it! The Coconut & Pear Moisturizing Lip Balm is just as moisturising, but I am not a fan of coconut scents.
The Beeswax Lip Balm has a minty scent and a cool almost tingly feeling, it is moisturising, but I don’t find it as as good as the Moisturising Lip Balm. It is definitely thinner, more slippery and less waxy.
The Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream is great, it does a great job at caring for cuticles, and really helped through winter!
The Lip Shimmers are nice, but not something I would buy my 32 year old self, but I know some people love them. They have a minty scent and cooling feel, and give a pretty shimmery tint to lips. I prefer the warmer Caramel shade for my skin tone as opposed to the pink Grapefruit shade.
I really hope we get the makeup range soon! Have you tried anything from Burt’s Bees? If not, you can find their products online.
